Pre-release copies of my new book Australian Druidry are available now, but only if you order through my website www.forestspiritjewelry.com. I’m also offering a special pack with a book and a Druids Down Under t-shirt.
In the book I discuss the difficulties we face in practicing Druidry in this great southern land of ours: I offer ideas about what it means to be an Australian Druid; explore how we can go about creating local wheels of the year that incorporate the native environment; look at native animal and tree symbolism; and give thorough examples on how to create meaningful rituals to connect with the sacred landscape.

Hi Julie I’m late to the party but I’ve just found you, your book and started listening to your podcast. I’m so excited to have find writing on the seasonal moments here in Australia. For years I’ve tried relating what I see and feel seasonally with the traditional wheel of the year and it doesn’t quite gel for me. Reading your book is bringing many wonderful aha moments and I love it! I’m currently living among the trees in Kurrajong but lived for many years in the Blue Mountains. Thank you for your work.

Hi Julie I’m a bit late to the party but have just found you and your book. I’ve also started listening to your podcast. Reading your book has given me many aha moments and I’m enjoying reading about seasonal changes I’m really familiar with. I tried for many years to apply the traditional seasonal calendar to what I experience in place but it’s never quite gelled for me. I currently live among the trees in Kurrajong but lived for many years in the Blue Mountains so can relate to your experiences.
